Spike arrived in our house in 2012 as a tiny puppy and quickly became a much loved member of our family - he is a bossy, cheeky, neurotic little man who believes he is much bigger than he actually is. We adopted Esta from a rescue group and welcomed her into our home last July. In those 18 months she has transformed from a frightened, timid, quiet little thing into a friendly, curious, excitable little girl who loves playing with her teddies. She also loves beating Spike up (we think he lets her do it :-) either that or she brings out the wimp in him) whenever I come home from work they both greet me wit an enormous amount of excitement. Jumping up, running around from room to room like crazies- yipping and barking - they are so happy to see me. They follow me everywhere and always want to be close. It certainly makes me feel special. One thing about our cresties - they are unlike any dogs I have ever owned before in fact sometimes I think they are more like cats - as they are so independent and very very hard to train. Lol
